This policy describes what this site collects from a visitor, how that information is used, and when it may reach someone else. Reading or using any page here means you accept the practices described below.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

When a name or a birth date goes into one of the search boxes on this site, that entry travels straight to the outside company that runs the search. The partner processes it and returns the results. We do not keep the search terms on our end.

Messages and Contact Submissions

If you write to us, we keep the message so we can answer it. It stays with our own group, and we do not pass it along unless the law requires it.

Data We Gather Automatically

Each time a page loads, our servers record a small set of technical details about the visit:

  • The IP address your device is using
  • Your browser type and version
  • Your operating system and device type
  • Which pages you opened and how long each one stayed on screen
  • The referring site, when one exists
  • A timestamp for every page view

Cookies and Analytics

This site sets cookies, which are small files saved to your device. They show us which pages draw traffic and where readers leave. Analytics services help us total that traffic. You can block cookies in your browser at any time, though a few parts of the site may not behave the same way afterward.

What We Do With This Data

  • Keep the site online, stable, and quick to load
  • Route your search request to the right partner service
  • Learn which pages help readers and which ones need work
  • Find and repair technical problems
  • Serve advertising that may match your interests

No Warrant Data on File

This site does not host, build, or sell a database of warrants or personal warrant information. What we publish is general guidance on where Saginaw County records sit: with the 70th District Court and the 10th Circuit Court, with the County Clerk's Circuit Court Division, and with the Sheriff's Office that serves court orders. Michigan court records are governed by court rules rather than by this site, and the state's Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.232 through MCL 15.246, governs public-body records elsewhere. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and nothing collected from visitors is assembled into reports about anyone.

Third-Party Search Partners

The search boxes here are run by outside companies. Whatever you type into one of those tools is handled under that company's privacy policy, not this one. Those partners decide how long they keep data and who else sees it, and we have no say in either. Read the partner's policy before you submit a search.

Links to Other Websites

We link out to court pages, the Sheriff's Office, the County Clerk, state agencies, and outside search tools. Once you click one of those links, you are on someone else's site and that site's privacy policy applies. Read it before you share personal details.

Some advertising partners track activity across sites to target their ads. That tracking happens on their systems, not ours.

Who Might See Your Data

We do not sell personal data. A limited set of parties may still see some of it:

  • Search partners that handle the queries you run here
  • Analytics providers that measure traffic and performance
  • Ad networks that place ads on these pages
  • Law enforcement or a government body when a valid legal order requires disclosure

How We Protect Your Data

We use standard security practices to protect what we collect. No internet service can promise perfect safety, and we cannot guarantee that a breach will never occur. We keep the data we hold to a minimum for that reason.

Users Under 18

This site is built for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us data, tell us and we will remove it.

Your Data Rights

Michigan law, including the Freedom of Information Act at MCL 15.233, gives the public a right to inspect and copy records held by state and local public bodies, and it sets the process and the exemptions for those requests. That law applies to government offices, not to a private site like this one. For data we actually hold, you can:

  • Ask what we have on file about you
  • Have incorrect information corrected
  • Ask us to delete your data
  • Opt out of certain kinds of processing

Updates to This Policy

This policy can change. When it does, the new version appears on this page with a later effective date, and the changes apply from that date forward.
