Not a Consumer Reporting Agency. This website is not a consumer reporting agency as the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) defines that term. Neither the information here nor anything on a third-party tool linked from this site may be used to decide credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or any other FCRA purpose. A background check for one of those purposes has to go through an FCRA-compliant screening provider.
Privately Operated Reference Site
This site is privately operated. We are not a court, a sheriff's office, or any government agency, and no government office endorses or sponsors us. We do not issue warrants, serve them, or keep an official warrant system. We point readers to the offices that do: the 70th District Court and the 10th Circuit Court that issue the orders, the County Clerk's Circuit Court Division that keeps the older files, and the Saginaw County Sheriff's Office that serves them.
Accuracy of Information
Courts and sheriff's offices change addresses, hours, phone numbers, fees, and procedures with little notice, and case information changes through the day. We make a real effort to keep these pages current, but we cannot promise that every detail is correct right now. Before you travel to a counter or send a payment, call the office and confirm.
Warrant Status Changes - Verify Before You Rely
A warrant is a living record. Warrants get issued, served, recalled, quashed, and sometimes sealed, and a status can shift from one day to the next. A search that comes back clear is not proof that no warrant exists, because a record may not be indexed yet, may sit with a different court, or may be closed to public view. A listing you saw last week may no longer match the file. Before acting on a warrant's status, or on its absence, confirm it with the issuing court or the Sheriff's Office.
Treat any warrant result you find as a starting point rather than the final answer. Only the issuing court or the office holding the file can say whether a warrant is open, recalled, served, or sealed.
Verify With the Official Source
Nothing on this site is an official record. When a decision depends on a warrant's status, its charge, its bond, or whether it has been cleared, get the answer from the office that holds the record. Michigan court records are public under court rule 8.119 unless a rule, statute, or order restricts them, and the state's Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.232 through MCL 15.246, governs records held by other public bodies. Neither of those laws turns an online summary into an official confirmation. That has to come from the court or the Sheriff's Office.
Not Legal Advice
Nothing on this site is legal advice. We point to resources and explain how warrants generally work in Saginaw County, but a website cannot stand in for a licensed attorney, especially when an outstanding warrant, a voluntary appearance, or a bond is involved. Talk to a Michigan lawyer about your own situation.
Third-Party Search Tools
Some pages here include a search box that a third-party company runs. We do not control what those tools return, what they charge, or how they handle the data you submit. A result may be incomplete, out of date, or matched to the wrong person, and it carries the same FCRA limits described above.
Outbound Links
We link to court pages, the County Clerk, the Sheriff's Office, state agencies, and other outside resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any site we do not run.
No Records on This Site
This site hosts no warrants, warrant lists, case files, or court records. Michigan also runs no public statewide warrant portal, and the state police criminal-history service excludes warrant information, so there is no single lookup to offer. To confirm an actual warrant, ask the issuing court or the Sheriff's Office.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you tell me if there is a warrant for me?
No. We do not host or maintain any warrant system, and Michigan does not publish one. Start with a warrant lookup on the county case index, then call the court that holds the case.
Does a clear result mean I have no warrant?
No. A clear result is not proof. Records can be added late, recalled, served, sealed, or held by another court. Confirm directly with the court or the Sheriff's Office.
Who can clear or recall a warrant?
Only the court that issued the warrant can recall or clear it. Talk to a Michigan attorney and the issuing court about the options.
