Saginaw County Warrant Records Saginaw County Warrant Records

Most questions about a Saginaw County warrant belong to a court division or the Sheriff's Office, not to this site. This page explains what we can and cannot help with and names the office that handles each kind of request, so a reader can call the right counter on the first try. The courts hold the case files, the Clerk keeps the older Circuit records, and the Sheriff's Office serves the orders the courts issue.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear one, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice to anyone. For any of those, you need the court that issued the order or the office that holds the file.

Need Official Warrant Information?

Saginaw County publishes no public warrant roster, so a suspected warrant is confirmed by the court that holds the case. Here is where the common requests are handled:

  • Whether a warrant exists: the county's own guidance sends that call to the 70th District Court Criminal Division or the Circuit Court, not to the prosecutor and not to this site
  • A bench warrant after a missed date: the court that set the case holds the warrant, whether that is the district court, the Circuit Court, or the family bench
  • A traffic citation or an unpaid judgment: the 70th District Traffic Division handles the record and can explain what a default has triggered
  • Support or parenting time: Friend of the Court enforces the family docket, and those files stay separate from criminal warrant records
  • Resolving or clearing a warrant: talk to a licensed Michigan attorney and the issuing court about a recall, a voluntary appearance, or bond

The offices below take those calls directly. Bring a full legal name, a date of birth if you have one, and any case number you already know, because a name search on its own is the least reliable way to find a file.

Court files and county records follow different request paths. A case document comes from the court office that holds it, and a certified copy carries a fee. A county public-body record goes through the FOIA coordinator above, and that process cannot be used to pull a private warrant status out of a court file.

The Saginaw County courts page lists each division and its current counter hours if a number has changed since your last call.
